Extended EPK & Long-Form Behind The Scenes

While a short EPK featurette gives a polished taste of your production, long-form BTS content captures the full journey — the grit, the graft, the camaraderie — and delivers something far richer for audiences and archives alike.

Why Long-Form?

A standard 8–10 minute featurette can only scratch the surface. The reality is, hours of quality B-roll, fly-on-the-wall moments, and genuine interactions never make the final cut. With a long-form approach, we can preserve those moments in a format that lives far beyond a marketing window — something more akin to a documentary.

This can be:

  • Candid, to-camera video diaries from cast and crew.

  • Scripted or structured (in the style of the 1980 Raiders of the Lost Ark making-of).

  • Or completely raw and real, like the Mission: Impossible – Fallout YouTube BTS featurettes that fans devour.

These formats have become some of the most-watched bonus features on DVD/Blu-ray and streaming platforms — giving audiences a proper look behind the curtain.

Music Licensing

We can integrate music provided by the production or assist in sourcing tracks from reputable libraries. If required, we can also collaborate with emerging composers to create original scores, ensuring all necessary licensing and cue sheets are in place for broadcast compliance.

While long-form behind-the-scenes video content isn’t widely commissioned these days outside of studios like Lucasfilm, it remains deeply appreciated by collectors, cinephiles, and fans who value physical media. For those audiences, a feature-length documentary becomes more than just promo — it’s a time capsule. It gives depth, context, and emotional weight to the finished work, often becoming one of the most rewatched features on a DVD or Blu-ray.

Long Form Approach:

We embed ourselves with your production — not just for a few days, but across the timeline:

Pre-production & planning

Main unit & second unit days

Stunt rehearsals, table reads, press calls

Wrap party and beyond

We also offer a strong crew focus, giving voice to the departments that don’t usually get seen — lighting, wardrobe, makeup, set building, locations, and more — with in-depth interviews and observational footage.

This means a larger volume of footage, and a deeper editorial process. But it also means creating something memorable, authentic, and timeless.
